Blending Technology and Insight For Modern Infrastructure Monitoring
Our sensor networks and situational awareness data give users near-real-time data on asset and operating environment conditions. Users gain a new understanding of what’s happening out there. They can anticipate adverse events, predict breakdowns, and track outcomes.
Sensor Networks Are the First Step to Situational Awareness
Hayden Data sensors provide continuous, near-real-time data on the health of your assets and the surrounding environment. Sensors can be installed on power poles, transmission towers, buildings, bridges, tunnels, harbor buoys, and other structures.

Install Sensor Networks Anywhere With “Mesh” Communications
Mesh networks can tie many sensors together, even in the most remote locations. They work where cellular and other telecommunications options are nonexistent. Using mesh technology, sensors installed on each power pole can relay data down the line to each other until they reach cellular coverage areas. From there, the data is sent to a centralized analysis and user interface platform.
Now a wooden power pole in the most rural area is a “smart pole.”
Tie It All Together With the Hayden Data Awareness Platform
Data
Our sensors collect high-quality, raw data from the field. It’s ready to be ingested into various analytics systems or our Awareness Platform.
Analytics
We process current data in real-time. We also discover new insights from historical data. The result is predictive analytics that can model scenarios.
User Experience
Our visualization dashboard lets you gain insights and make decisions quickly. See a geographic view of all assets, their status, and warnings.

About Hayden Data
In early 2009, Australia experienced a tragedy that what would come to be known as “Black Saturday.” A series of bushfires, largely attributed to power and utility companies, ravaged Victoria, burning over 1 million acres, destroying over 2,000 homes and killing 173 Australians. This cataclysm led our company to start what would ultimately become Hayden Data Systems, LLC. In 2011, research and development for this vision would get underway, and since then, hundreds of pilot units have been deployed across multiple industry sectors.
Hayden Data was formally incorporated in 2020 and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Grand Junction, Colorado.
