Install Sensor Networks Anywhere With “Mesh” Communications
Mesh networks can tie many sensors together, even in the most remote locations. They work where cellular and other telecommunications options are nonexistent. Using mesh technology, sensors installed on each power pole can relay data down the line to each other until they reach cellular coverage areas. From there, the data is sent to a centralized analysis and user interface platform.
Now a wooden power pole in the most rural area is a “smart pole.”

About Hayden Data
We first came to life as an idea following a disaster. The 2009 Black Saturday bushfires in Australia, unfortunately, caused the death of 173 people and destroyed in excess of 2,000 homes. Failing infrastructure was a contributor to some of these fires, resulting in a class action settlement.
Hayden Data founder, Chief Technical Officer, and inventor of our technology Iain Puddy believed that power poles and their surrounding environments could be monitored from afar. He developed models of sensor networks and networking methods and began prototyping.
Hayden Data formally incorporated in 2020 and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Grand Junction, Colorado.
